MAKERS/Chris Anderson

Finally,I’ve finished to read this Book “MAKERS” Chris Anderson. This first time I know this book was the book review of the news paper which I everyday read. After that I was booked this to my nearby library. But the person who wait to read was about 50. Yes This book has high popularity.
Before this book, I know Oreilly’s magazine “MAKE” and 3D printer can make 3D GUNS.
The person who create the word “Long Tail” try to describe the image of the MAKERS in 21st century.
For 20th MAKERS, there was a scale limit. it was necessary to build manufacturing line with big investment before she or he start their business. it was their risk to start making and that why the enterprise who has big potential to invest big money only can start MAKERS.
But in 21st Century, Atom can becomes like Bit. and Scale free makers comes into being.
21st MAKERS design in his Computer and share their design with the Internet and make common CAD spec files. there is a lots of facility which accept procurement order if they can get common CAD files through the Internet, like people who buy book in Amazon site.
Is this the new Industrial revolution. I will try to keep watch this movement.
